The clogs is handmade using old modified wodden clog machines. The business started 1986 by the clog manufacturer John Björnsson. John has designed the clogs based on ideas and experience from many years of clogs manufacturing in the family. Johns father started as early as 1880 and John himself started 1938 only 14 years of age.

The business was then taken over by Anders Nilsson from Kloerup that continued to manufacture clogs the same way as John did for many years.

In September 2010, Anders sold the business to the family Elisabet and Joakim Kock from Genarp that are very
interested in old Scanian handicraft, and they are going to continue to run the business into the future still using the
same old methods like before. Lets hope we will meet on a Swedish market sometime!

The clogs are 11 cm long and the motifs are hand painted by different local artists. We have a selection off motifs suited
for baptism, marriage, children, christmas and also as souvenirs with scenes from scania. You can also order your own
motif, but we dont make portraits.
